Sears is a retail store. They subcontract all labor to independent contractors. They are salesmen with limited construction knowledge, subcontacting to the lowest bidder. Reputable remodeling contractors don't charge for estimates. Contact the Better Business Bureau or local home builders association for some advice and recommendations concerning contractors in this field.

Sears uses subcontractors (non-employees) to do their remodeling work. One might do a good job, the next guy maybe not so good. I'd go with a contractor who had employees to do the work.
