has anyone used Sears to remodel their kitchen?
anonymous asked:
I need to remodel my house’s kitchen, including new appliances, cabinets, and flooring. I have no idea how to go about finding a reputable kitchen contractor, and I see Sears does remodels. Anyone have experience with them?

My parents used Sears to remodel their kitchen and it turned out great! It was a very unworkable kitchen before with a ton of cabinetry but little counter space. It now not only looks great but is very workable. I believe they did have a bit of trouble getting the exact appliances they wanted and did have to go to lowe’s or something but it all worked out in the end. Good luck!

Can’t answer about Sears, But I can tell you my sister went to Lowe’s and here cabinet install was a nightmare. My mother is going through Home depot and it’s a HUGE nightmare. I’d take a chance with Sears or go to a store/company that ONLY deals with kitchens

My sister used sears and was happy with the results and the price. Sears and the other hardware stores use contractors that may or may not work exclusively for them. Some stores supervise the contractors closely others do not. You should rely more on recommendations from people who have used the local store.
