Jump right in.. When you incounter a problem (and you will) then ask that particular question when the time comes.
It takes hard work and more time than you would probably think to do it right. When you are done you have so much pride you hate selling it.

You dive right in and do it…I ask people if i get stuck on a project how they would do it, i have always found an answer…I’m in the middle of a big remodel now, tomorrow elbows deep in drywall and taping/mud, i hate that part…

If you are not good in detail work, it is hard to do. I use to help my dad do this before he died. You need to be nit picky about details because the least thing not done right can cause the house to not sell. I re-modeled a home in the late early 1990’s when the housing market was at a standstill. My house was only on the market for 3 months when it sold. The last house I sold, I had just finished and a person stopped and gave me an offer I couldn’t refuse before it went on the market. Things you cannot do, hire someone who can do them right.
