How much does it cost to remodel an inground pool?

crapaudblanc asked:

I have an inground pool about 42 by 25, I think it is concrete. I need to have it resurfaced (lot of impaction), changed the tiles (falling off and craking), and add an automatic cover. No pipes or machinery changes (hopefully). can some one give me an idea of what it would cost?
and please don’t tell me to get quotes…I already know that, but would be nice to have some guidelines first.

call around to local contractors that service pools. Hopefully you can get a free estimate

I don’t know the cost but if the walls of you pool are reasonably firm you might get by with just a plastic liner.

This may do the job & not cost too much.

Depends on how well you want the job done.

i would guess anywhere from 10,000 to 15,000 judging from the size a 16×32 cost around 3,000 to 5,000 and i’m sure its a concrete or gunite pool because of how big it is. could give you a better idea if i had a better idea of what the pool looks like
