How much to remodel a 700 square foot apt in NYC?
Webby10003 asked:
Here are the specs: I have a 700 square foot, 20X35 wood frame apartment that I want to completely redo. I need new bathroom, new bedrooms, (two small ones),new floors, new kitchen, new layout. I want to flip-flop the placement of the Kitchen and Bathroom, so plumbing will be relatively near by. There are NO load-bearing walls in the apt. How much to do TOP middle-end or LOW high end remodel (with demo), if there is such a thing. Want tasteful, not fancy. I’m just trying to get SOME idea of how much this could cost. This is in Brooklyn, NY, easy parking etc. I know there are a lot of variables, but answers are more appreciated than questions.

I fully understand that you don’t want questions but any one that is a professional in construction isn’t going to give you a price like you are asking…there is such a difference in prices when dealing with high end finish work ( Which I did and still do ) to a middle of the road price…Your best bet is to hire a construction company to do the work…and you can get free estimates….rather then ask people on here…too many variables to get you a competitive price…Having done work in The Tri-State area I know you have the Union to deal with….not to mension the Permitting you will have to go through…Good Luck
