I want to remodel my bedroom from scratch, what do I do with my old furniture?

vsanichar1 asked:

I do not want to simply throw away my old furniture (mattress, bed frame, night stand). I want to get rid of it and earn some cash back so I could remodel my bedroom. How should I go about selling it?

Yo might want to check to see if it’s legal to sell a used mattress in your state. As far as the furniture goes rocks. You may also want to check your local tv stations. Many of them have homepages with free classifieds. You could also donate the furniture to Salvation Army, Goodwill, or Habitat for Humanity Homeworks Store. All excellent charities.

Don’t underestimate your current furniture. Perhaps a fun paint finish will change it’s looks enough to give the room a facelift. By the same token, check out the aforementioned places (or other resale shops) for previously owned, gently used furniture. It’s a great way to change the look for less cash and you’re recycling and that’s a great thing.

Stick it on ebay! Its easier than people think to do so. Or Oztion…the listing fees are cheaper than ebay.Or you could paint it & distress it by rubbing the corners back etc. That i very in at the moment :)

ebay is a good place but photos are essential to make a sale, not to difficult to do as long as you have a digital camera.
