On the DIYnet show “mancaves” does anyone know who pays for the remodel?

Ive been watching that show and noticed that there going to be coming to my area soon. I submitted an application but i was wondering who coveres the cost of the remodel? Any one know or know someone who has had a show like this come to there home?

I think it’s a combination of homeowners & the merchandise suppliers. For example, the paint, furnishings, electronics, etc. might be discounted or donated by the vendor because they could potentially get free publicity for being on the show. But things like contracting which is usually done by local professionals & wouldn’t get much return on a national level, those things are most likely paid for by the homeowner.
