Tow it away and have a contractor build you a real home.
My other, first thought, idea involves arson and not worth sharing as others have already beat me to the punch in this forum.

try They have a lot of good information there.
Good grief, some of you are so hateful. Sometimes you just have to work with what you have. She is trying to make her situation better - why mock her?
If you can do the work yourself, you will probably be happier with the results. We had two water disasters with our mobile that we hired “professional” contractors to do, both were poorly done. We did a remodel on our own and while it took longer, the quaility of work was ten times better. If you do have to hire help - make sure it is someone who has worked on mobile homes before. It is definitely different than working on stick-built homes.

Depends on what you like. It is your home so make it how you feel most comfortable.
I think if it is small you would want to use lite colors so it looks larger. Maybe use mirrors to make it look larger and bigger windows are always nice to let in the light.
Good luck.

one of the things to do is put a pitch roof with asphalt shingles, maybe a farmers porch.this is easy to do right over the existing roof.foam insulation board and then vinyl siding and vinyl banking will dress up the outside while adding some R value to the insulation rating.on the inside you may replace the windows with vinyl replacement windows.they are easy to do.most mobile homes are constructed with 3 inch studs rather than 2×4 so your windows and the doors that you replace will stick past about a 1/2 inch.this is fine because now you can also put up insulation board on the inside.also insulating the floor from under can really save some money in the long run.now time to sheetrock, use the thinnest you can find. 3/8 is comman, but i have seen it in 1/4 width.or if you like pine tongue and groove looks great.tile in the kitchen and bath, carpet in the rest of the rooms, maybe hardwood floors in the living room.some creative landscaping and wahlah! a trailer fit for a king.i just remodeled one using some of the materials i suggested and it came out great.i also redid the wiring and put in new oullets and switches.do a little at a time and before you know it she’ll be complete.good luck

Ignore the jokers on here. If you’re planning on doing it yourself there are a number of excellent resources, online as well as books, available and you can probably also get some excellent tips at your local hardware outlet (Home Depot, for instance). If you’re thinking of hiring it done check local listings and some of the small sale papers like Thrifty Nickel and The Greensheet. They often have ads from contractors who specialize in mobile home repairs, renovations and remodeling. However be sure and research anyone you’re thinking of hiring first… there are a lot of charlatans and cowboys advertising out there. More and more people in this country are turning to manufactured homes as an affordable housing alternative. Good luck.

Hang fuzzy dice in there, use plastic blow-up furniture and fake shag rugs, throw in some lava lamps
